3 1/2" Gauge Pacific

       This locomotive is a rendition of the B&O President Washington. I purchased the basic engine minus all the externals from the late Herman Kloppenburg. He hated to part with it but was in poor health at the time and knew he would never finish it. He came to see the engine just after I had it completed. I offered to let him run it at our club track but he never took me up on it. It's a fine engine and the machine work is superb. You can actually run it on lung power it's so smooth. It is equipped with a steam driven water pump and an injector. It hasn't been run in a few years. The West Penn Live Steamers is defunct now and 3 1/2" gauge is a dying breed in the states.
